FM presents Union Budget

 1st February 2017. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has tabled Union Budget in Parliament today. 

Parts used for manufacture of LED Lights subjected to BCD of 5 per cent and CVD of 6 per cent- Customs duty of 2 per cent imposed on PCB for manufacture of mobile phones-Solar tempered glass for manufacture of solar cells/panels exempted from Customs duty--Basic Customs duty on LNG lowered to 2.5 per cent  

Excise duty on Pan Masala containing Gutkha hiked to 12 per cent-on Pan masala hiked to 9 per cent-on unmanufactured tobacco to 8.3 per cent-No major changes in Customs Excise & Service Tax in Budget-Personal Income Tax for slab of income 2.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh lowered to 5 per cent
